The coronavirus pandemic had a significant impact on the health and fitness sector in 2020 and 2021. Due to restrictions and safety precautions to contain the pandemic, people were only able to train in their own home gyms. Various problems encountered when training with conventional star collars led to the idea of developing an optimized collar for threaded barbell bars. This marked the birth of the 2M Easy Click, which is set to completely replace conventional star collars over time.

With the registration of the patent in 2021 at the German Patent and Trademark Office, we have reached another milestone in technological development. Since then, this protected innovation has formed the basis for an important part of our product portfolio and underlines our commitment to technical excellence and the sustainable protection of our developments.

One year after application, the patent was successfully granted by the German Patent and Trademark Office. The protected technical development not only confirms our innovative strength, but also represents an important strategic advantage. The patent secures Easy Click in the long term and strengthens the solution's unique position in the market.

Following the successful manufacture of the injection molding tool and an intensive testing and optimization phase, series production of the first Easy Clicks ready for sale began. With the official start of production, we have reached a significant milestone: the solutions developed are now ready for the market—the result of extensive development work and technical precision.

In November 2022, we visited ISPO in Munich for the first time, one of the world's leading trade fairs for sports and lifestyle products. The trade fair appearance provided us with a valuable platform to present Easy Click to an international audience of experts and to establish new business contacts. The direct exchange with customers and partners strengthened our market position and opened up new perspectives for the future.

Following the TV report on regioTV, Schwäbisch Media also published an article about our entrepreneurial career and the 2M Easy Click in its “Aktiv” magazine. It can be found in issue 03/2023.

In July 2023, the Lake Constance-Upper Swabia Chamber of Industry and Commerce featured our company in its renowned magazine “Die Wirtschaft.” The publication highlighted our regional ties and praised our innovative approach and entrepreneurial development. Being featured in an established business magazine not only strengthened our visibility in the region, but also boosted the confidence of potential partners and customers.

What began with sales within Germany developed into Europe-wide expansion. Since then, we have been shipping Easy Clicks not only nationally, but also to numerous European countries. This step marks the beginning of our international orientation and strengthens our position in the global market. Customers throughout Europe now benefit from our innovative solutions – directly from Upper Swabia.

In May, we added a new product to our portfolio - the Dumbbell Bumper from DAST Strength Training Equipment. This makes us the first distribution partner for the Dumbbell Bumper in Germany.
